Oto Awori LCDA, Lagos— There was excitement at the Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area secretariat as the Executive Chairman,Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun,announced the deployment of a new staff bus for council workers. 
The announcement was made during the monthly prayer session with the Executive, Legislative arm, Management and Staff to usher in the new month with prayers for strength, steadfastness and unity in service to the people.
Hon. Kareem Azeez said the initiative is aimed at easing staff movement, reducing commuting stress and improving efficiency in service delivery across the LCDA.
“When our staff are comfortable, Oto-Awori LCDA works better. This bus is part of our commitment to you and our promise to make service delivery faster and more effective,” he stated.
The Chairman described workers’ welfare as a cardinal objective of his administration, stressing that a motivated workforce is the engine room of good governance.
He noted that the provision of the new bus aligns with his administration’s broader agenda of prioritizing workers’ well-being, strengthening collaboration among departments and ensuring that residents receive quality and timely services.
Staff members welcomed the development with appreciation, saying it will boost punctuality and productivity.
“Thank you for your dedication. More good things are coming,” the Chairman assured the workers.
The new staff bus is expected to serve staff across departments at the secretariat and in field operations.
