Ejigbo, Lagos –It was a new era of synergy and institutional renewal in Ejigbo Local Council Development A rea (LCDA) as the Executive Chairman,Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), formally welcomed the newly deployed Council Manager,Mrs. Odubeko Taiwo, into the administrative family of the Council.
The high-level welcome ceremony was expanded into a tripartite strategic meeting that brought together the full architecture of governance in Ejigbo – the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Abimbola Nicholas-Ike, Councillors, Supervisors and members of the Council Management Team, in a symbolic display of unity and collective responsibility.
Addressing the gathering, Aare TAT described the deployment of the new Council Manager as timely and strategic to the developmental aspirations of the present administration.
He noted that sustainable grassroots development can only be achieved when the political class and career officers operate as one indivisible team.
According to the Council boss, the era of working in silos is over in Ejigbo LCDA.
“We are ushering in a new era where synergy is not an option but a culture. The political arm and the administrative arm must function like the heart and the brain of one body.
“We need professionalism, we need mutual respect, and we need accountability at all levels,” Aare TAT stated.
“Our mandate is service. Our people want visible development, responsive governance and transparency. That is what this administration stands for and that is what we will deliver together,” he added.
Aare TAT went further to charged all stakeholders to rededicate themselves to the Greater Ejigbo Agenda, emphasizing that unity of purpose, institutional discipline and people-oriented programmes remain the tripod upon which his administration stands.
In her remarks, the new Council Manager, Mrs.Odubeko Taiwo, thanked the Chairman and the entire Council for the warm and well-coordinated reception. 
She pledged to bring her wealth of experience to bear and to work in total alignment with the vision of the TAT-led administration to entrench operational efficiency and seamless service delivery.
The meeting, which was marked by frank deliberations and renewed commitment from all arms, has set the tone for a more harmonious, transparent and result-driven administration, as Ejigbo LCDA intensifies its drive for excellence in grassroots governance.
