The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has joined millions around the world in celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, describing the historic milestone as a remarkable testament to resilience, visionary leadership, democratic progress, and global influence.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the National Public Relations Secretary of the Society, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni,President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, congratulated the American government and its citizens on the landmark celebration, while extending special greetings to NASFAT members and their families residing across various states in the United States.
He commended their steadfast dedication to Islamic values, community development, family cohesion, and professional excellence, noting that they continue to project the positive image of the Society through meaningful contributions to their communities and the broader American society.
According to him, America’s 250-year journey remains an inspiring example of determination, innovation, and collective aspiration, expressing confidence that the nation will continue to strengthen democratic institutions, promote peace, create greater opportunities, and deepen national unity for future generations.
NASFAT noted that the celebration marks two and a half centuries of nation-building, innovation, and enduring commitment to the ideals of freedom, opportunity, and peaceful coexistence.
The Society observed that the United States has continued to serve as a home to people from diverse nationalities, cultures, and religious backgrounds, fostering an environment where talent, enterprise, and hard work can thrive.
It added that the country’s rich diversity remains one of its greatest strengths and a symbol of hope for millions across the globe.
NASFAT also highlighted the significance of the anniversary coinciding with America’s role in hosting major international football events, describing sports as a powerful platform for promoting global friendship, cultural exchange, unity, and mutual understanding among nations.
Similarly, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Morufdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offered prayers for the continued well-being of NASFAT members and all residents of the United States.
He prayed for Allah’s divine guidance, protection, abundant blessings, good health, prosperity, peaceful homes, and lasting harmony across the nation.
