The Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Dr. Seyi Jakande, has described the unveiling of The Lagos Promise (Ìlérí Èkó), the 100-point development agenda of the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH), as a historic and visionary blueprint for the future of Lagos State. 
Dr. Jakande, who witnessed the unveiling of the manifesto on Friday at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, Iganmu, said the comprehensive agenda goes beyond politics, offering a practical roadmap for the continued transformation of the state.
According to him, the manifesto’s strong focus on people-centered governance, security, environmental sustainability and economic opportunity directly addresses the core needs of Lagosians, especially at the grassroots.
“As a local government administrator, I am particularly inspired by the blueprint’s deliberate emphasis on creating synergy between the state and local governments, and its focus on grassroots economic dignity,” Jakande said.
He highlighted key components of the manifesto including support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), free skills certification for artisans, expansion of healthcare facilities and investment in education as interventions that will have direct impact on ordinary residents.
Dr. Jakande noted that the inclusion of a public accountability scorecard to track delivery of the 100 pledges demonstrates the APC’s commitment to transparency, trust and excellent leadership.
He assured that local governments are ready to key into the vision and align their development plans to accelerate growth at the community level.
“At the local government level, we stand ready to align with this transformative agenda. By driving a strong partnership between the state government, local administration and the private sector, we will work tirelessly to bring this promise to life,” he added.
The Chairman reiterated that with The Lagos Promise, the APC has once again shown its readiness to consolidate progress and deliver inclusive development for all Lagosians.
