The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has unveiled a Free GCE Coaching Programme as part of his administration’s sustained commitment to improving educational standards and empowering young people through quality learning opportunities.
The initiative is designed to provide intensive academic support for candidates preparing for the forthcoming General Certificate Examination (GCE), particularly beneficiaries of the council’s Free GCE Forms, while also extending the opportunity to other GCE candidates residing within Ejigbo LCDA.
According to the release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman,the tutorial programme will officially commence on Monday, August 10, 2026, and will hold daily from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Oba Maroof Primary School, Primary School Complex, Ile Iwe Last Bus Stop, Ejigbo, Lagos.
The free coaching programme is expected to provide candidates with structured lessons, intensive revision, examination techniques and expert guidance across key subjects to improve their confidence and overall performance in the examination.
The initiative underscores the Aare TAT administration’s unwavering commitment to educational development, recognizing education as a critical tool for youth empowerment, social transformation and community development.
Speaking on the programme, the council reaffirmed its resolve to continue implementing people-oriented policies that remove financial barriers to education and create equal opportunities for students to excel academically.
Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo noted that investing in education remains one of the most effective ways of building a brighter future for the younger generation, adding that the administration will continue to introduce programmes that enhance learning and promote academic excellence across the LCDA.
He encouraged all beneficiaries of the council’s Free GCE Forms, as well as other GCE candidates within Ejigbo LCDA, to take full advantage of the free tutorial classes by attending regularly and remaining dedicated to their studies.
