The Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced the commencement of its Subsidized Ileya Ram Sales initiative as part of efforts to support residents ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to the council, the welfare-driven programme initiated by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Seyi Jakande, is aimed at reducing the financial burden on families by providing quality rams at affordable prices for verified residents of the LCDA.
Investigator news reports that the sales exercise is scheduled to hold on Monday, May 25, 2026, by 7:00 a.m., with each ram priced at âĤ80,000 on cash payment only.
According to the council,to benefit from the initiative, residents are required to present a valid Permanent Voterâs Card (PVC), while temporary voter cards without NIN will not be accepted.
The council also stated that proxy collection will not be allowed, and residents must provide evidence of payment for Radio and TV levy.
The council described the initiative as another demonstration of Hon. Dr. Seyi Jakandeâs commitment to the welfare and prosperity of residents of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA.
Residents have been advised to arrive early and ensure all required documents are available for verification.
