Hon. Seye Oladejo, a leading aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Mushin II Federal Constituency in the forthcoming House of Representatives election, has been honoured with the Political Icon Special Honour at the 2026 City People Political Awards.
The recognition was conferred by City People Magazine in acknowledgement of his sustained contributions to public service, party leadership, and grassroots development in Lagos State, particularly within Mushin Local Government Area.
Hon. Oladejo, a former Chairman of Mushin Local Government, two-term member of the Lagos State Executive Council, and former Spokesperson of the Lagos State APC, has built a reputation over the years as a committed public servant and influential political figure.
Although he was absent at the award ceremony held in Lagos, organisers confirmed that the honour will be formally presented to him at a later date.
The award further underscores his growing influence within the political space and his consistent advocacy for inclusive governance and community development.
