……..As Aare TAT Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Development

Ejigbo, Lagos–The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has been honoured with a Scout Ambassador Decoration by the Lagos State Scout Council in recognition of his commitment to youth development, leadership, and community service.
The honour was conferred during a courtesy visit by officials of the Lagos State Scout Council to the Chairman, where they commended his administration’s sustained investment in programmes aimed at empowering young people and promoting responsible leadership.
Speaking after receiving the decoration, Aare TAT expressed gratitude to the Scout Council for the recognition and applauded the Scout Movement for its longstanding role in moulding disciplined, patriotic, and responsible citizens through character-building and leadership training.
He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to youth development, stressing that empowering young people with the right values, leadership skills, and opportunities remains a key priority of his government.
The Council Chairman also assured the Scout Council of continued collaboration and support for initiatives that encourage community service, patriotism, and the holistic development of youths across Ejigbo LCDA
Investigator news reports that the delegation was led by the Lagos State Scout Council State Commissioner, Alhaji Adebesin Oohuntoyin, alongside Assistant Commissioner, N. I. Shobogun, the District Commissioner, Ejigbo, and other Scout officials.
Also present during the visit were the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Yemisi Otuyemi; the Supervisor for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hon. Mathew Gbadegesin; and the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ejigbo LCDA Coordinator, Comrade Femi Sogunmuyiwa.
The visit further strengthened the partnership between the Lagos State Scout Council and the Ejigbo LCDA administration, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to nurturing future leaders and promoting youth-focused initiatives that will positively impact the community.
