The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold economic reforms are laying a solid and enduring foundation for a prosperous and sustainable Nigeria.
Aare TAT made the declaration on Thursday, 15th October 2026, at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he joined governors, party leaders and other top progressive stakeholders for the Federation General Assembly and the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council.
The high-level gathering, themed “Renewed Hope, Cooperative Federalism and Shared Prosperity,” was convened to foster political unity, strengthen intergovernmental collaboration and galvanize grassroots participation in national development ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the Ejigbo Council boss described President Tinubu as a visionary and courageous leader whose Renewed Hope Agenda is already resetting the nation’s economic trajectory.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has demonstrated uncommon courage, foresight and patriotism. His reforms are tough, yes, but they are necessary, visionary and people-centered in the long term. He is laying the foundation for a Nigeria that will be prosperous, stable and globally competitive,” TAT said.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a political slogan; it is a practical roadmap for national rebirth. It is about shared prosperity, where no Nigerian is left behind. Posterity will remember President Tinubu as the leader who dared to take the difficult decisions for the future of our children,” he added.
Aare TAT noted that the essence of the Federation General Assembly was to reinforce the spirit of cooperative federalism, where the federal, state and local governments work in synergy for the benefit of the people.
He reaffirmed that Ejigbo LCDA under his leadership remains fully aligned with the developmental priorities of the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government, assuring that his administration is domesticating the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots.
“In Ejigbo, we are complementing Mr. President’s vision through massive infrastructural renewal, youth empowerment, investment in education and primary healthcare, and people-oriented governance. We are taking the message of Renewed Hope to every street, every ward and every household in Ejigbo,”he stated.
The event witnessed a strong show of progressive solidarity as Aare TAT stood shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow grassroots leaders including Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello-Obe and Hon. Taiwo Ayedun (Shanana), the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II and I respectively.
Their joint presence at the Presidential Villa, according to political observers, signals unity of purpose and a collective resolve to strengthen grassroots political structures and mobilize overwhelmingly for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
The atmosphere at the Aso Rock Banquet Hall was charged with optimism, camaraderie and renewed commitment as progressive leaders pledged unalloyed loyalty to President Tinubu’s leadership and resolved to take the message of hope, reforms and shared prosperity to every nook and cranny of Nigeria.
