The Oba Ojoon of Ejigbo and Ijan Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Morufu Adisa Adekunle Adisa Ojoola (Imakiyo II), has commended the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), for the remarkable achievements recorded by his administration within its first year in office.
The monarch gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman as part of activities marking the administration’s first-year anniversary. 
During the visit, Oba Ojoola offered prayers for the success, wisdom and continued progress of the Aare TAT-led administration, while assuring the council chairman of his unwavering support for the development of Ejigbo.
The traditional ruler acknowledged the various development initiatives embarked upon by the administration, describing them as laudable efforts that have positively impacted the lives of residents across the LCDA.
He noted that the achievements recorded within the first year were worthy of recognition, stressing the importance of continued collaboration between the traditional institution and the local government in advancing the wellbeing and development of the community.
The visit also highlighted the cordial relationship between the traditional institution and the local government administration, particularly at a time when residents are preparing to celebrate the first year of the TAT administration.
Responding, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo expressed appreciation to the monarch for the visit, prayers and continued support for his administration.
The chairman reaffirmed his commitment to implementing more people-centred programmes and developmental projects, assuring residents that his administration would continue to prioritise initiatives capable of improving the quality of life and creating greater opportunities for the people of Ejigbo LCDA.
He also emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation among traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders and the local government in sustaining the development momentum across Ejigbo.
