The Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State,Atto Awori Chapter,High Chief Emmanuel Ubah (Otunba Ojoto)has urged Igbo communities in Lagos State and across the country to actively promote peaceful coexistence.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Comrade Emmanuel lkpeama, Chief Ubah enjoined Ndigbo to continually contribute meaningfully to national unity.
“Our people have always believed in Nigeria. We have invested in her unity, not just with words, but with action, through commerce, culture, and community building across the length and breadth of this country.
“That investment must not be in vain. We must continue to work together in peace, with confidence in our collective future, knowing that unity is our greatest strength.”he stated
Speaking on Nigeria’s independence, Ubah who is one of the leading aspirant for President Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State come 2026 extend his warmest felicitations to Ndigbo living in Lagos State and, by extension, to all Ndigbos and Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
He stated that sixty-five years ago, the founding fathers ignited the flame of freedom with a vision of a sovereign nation anchored on unity, resilience, and limitless possibilities.
