Ejigbo, Lagos— Community Development Associations across Ejigbo Local Council Development Area have passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), and pledged mass mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement came during a historic CDC/CDA Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Thursday at the Council Secretariat.

The meeting was attended by Councillors, Supervisors, Management Staff, CDC chieftains, community leaders and executives of various CDAs across Ejigbo LCDA, reflecting the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable grassroots development.

In their remarks, stakeholders commended Aare TAT for his accessibility, responsiveness and commitment to improving the welfare and living conditions of residents.

They acknowledged the administration’s interventions in infrastructure, education, health care, environmental sustainability, security, youth empowerment, local economic development and community welfare.

The CDCs expressed confidence in the Aare TAT Administration and pledged their continued cooperation and partnership towards the successful implementation of its development agenda.

A major highlight of the meeting was the Chairman’s charge for strengthened grassroots mobilization and total support for APC leaders in 2027.

Aare TAT urged community structures to rally support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election,Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat for Governor, Lagos State,Sen. Idiat Oluranti Adebule re-election,Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello-Obe for House of Representatives, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II and Hon. Ladi Ajomale Esq for re-election, House of Assembly, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II

He called on CDAs to continue sensitizing residents on the importance of democratic participation, good governance and political stability, while supporting policies and programmes aimed at delivering sustainable development.

Aare TAT emphasized that meaningful development cannot be achieved by government alone, stressing the need for a strong and enduring collaboration between the Council and the communities it serves.

He assured stakeholders that his administration remains committed to people-centred governance, accountability, transparency and the execution of projects with direct and measurable impact on the lives of residents.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the Council Administration and community stakeholders to strengthen their partnership, promote peace and development, and work collectively towards a greater, safer and more prosperous Ejigbo.
