Ejigbo, Lagos — The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has extended educational support to indigent students in the council by providing free General Certificate of Education (GCE) registration forms and approving complimentary tutorial classes ahead of the examination. 
The initiative is aimed at reducing the financial burden on less-privileged families while ensuring that deserving students have the opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations without being hindered by financial constraints.
Speaking at the event, Aare TAT reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education and youth development, stressing that financial difficulties should not prevent promising students from accessing opportunities to advance their education.
He explained that the provision of free GCE forms, coupled with tutorial classes, was designed to support students both financially and academically, while preparing them adequately for the forthcoming examination.
The Council chairman urged the beneficiaries to take the opportunity seriously, attend the tutorial sessions diligently and remain focused on their academic pursuits.
Investigator news reports that parents and beneficiaries has expressed appreciation to Aare TAT for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.
They commended the council administration for investing in the education and future of Ejigbo youths, noting that the initiative would go a long way in easing the burden on indigent families and giving students greater opportunities to achieve their educational goals.
Investigator news gathered that the presentation ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Abimbola Nicholas-Ike; Leader of the House, Hon. Gabriel Sobande; Honourable Councillors; Cabinet members; APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Ismail Oluwaseun Omoniyi.
Others are Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Mrs. Yemisi Dorcas Otuyemi; Council Manager, Pastor Olusegun Olumide Ajagunna; members of the Management Team; CDC executives; party chieftains; religious leaders and other stakeholders.
