Bakare scores zero, Nwajiuba polls one vote

Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, the former Minister of State for Education, and Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Church, both performed poorly in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary.

While Nwajiuba only received one vote, Bakare’s tenacity was not matched by action, as he received no votes.

Prior to the vote, the senior pastor had defied calls for him to resign in favor of other, more qualified candidates, vowing instead to rise to the occasion.

At the conclusion of the proceedings, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s National Leader, won the sole ticket up for grabs to run for President of the United States of America.
