The Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Dr. Seyi Jakande, on Monday, set the tone for the 2027 general elections as he hosted the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign structure in the LCDA to a high-powered strategic engagement.

The meeting, held at the council secretariat, was strictly focused on campaign coordination, grassroots mobilisation and mapping out winning strategies to deliver sweeping victory for all APC candidates at the polls.

Dr. Jakande, in his address, charged party stakeholders to work assiduously for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, the election of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State, and all other candidates of the party.

He said the party must take the message of continuity and development to every street, house and polling unit, urging members to sustain aggressive grassroots engagement around the development promises of the APC governorship candidate.

In his remarks, the immediate past Executive Chairman of the LCDA and newly inaugurated Deputy Director-General of the Lagos State APC Campaign Council, Hon. Rasaq Olushola Ajala, harped on internal unity as the bedrock of victory.

Ajala, who also serves as Director, Contact and Mobilisation Directorate of the State campaign, noted that only through collaboration, discipline and collective responsibility can the party build a formidable and unbeatable campaign structure.

The strategic meeting attracted top political figures, including Hon. Taofeek Alli, Member House of Representatives; Hon. Deji Jakande, Member House of Representatives; Hon. Nurani Akinsanya Osmak; Hon. Mrs. Kenny Babalola Ajinni; APC LCDA Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Ismail, and other leaders of the party structure in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Jakande had convened a separate mobilisation meeting with his cabinet members, legislators, political aides and council staff.

Also in attendance were field officers of the council’s key operational outfits – the Odi-Olowo Transportation and Environment Corps (OTEC) and the Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Waste and Recycle Services (OWARS).

At that session, the council chairman tasked his aides and the entire council workforce to intensify public engagement by reaching out to friends, family members, neighbours and associates to galvanise support for the APC.

He emphasised that with the 2027 elections fast approaching, all political and administrative stakeholders must be fully involved in voter sensitisation, door-to-door campaigns and active mobilisation to secure victory for the party from top to bottom.
