Tinubu Delivers: Progress You Can Feel.

Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Nigeria’s economy and security architecture have recorded major turnarounds in just 28 months.

Government revenue has been diversified beyond oil, with non-oil earnings hitting N20 trillion by August 2025 and N3.65 trillion raised in September alone.

Fiscal health has also improved significantly as debt service-to-revenue ratio dropped from 97% to below 50%, while the controversial “Ways and Means” advances were fully paid down, freeing up resources for real sector investments, security operations and social programmes.

The country’s external reserves have grown to $42.03 billion, the highest since 2019, giving Nigeria stronger buffers against global shocks. Tax reforms have expanded the tax base without overburdening citizens, pushing the tax-to-GDP ratio to 13.5% from less than 10%, with new laws designed to give relief to low-income earners.

For the first time in years, Nigeria is selling more to the world than it buys, recording trade surpluses for five straight quarters. Non-oil exports now account for 48% of total exports.

In the energy sector, crude oil production has rebounded to 1.68 million barrels per day and Nigeria has resumed local refining of petrol for the first time in four decades.

Foreign exchange reforms have ended multiple exchange rates, stabilized the naira and reduced arbitrage. To protect vulnerable Nigerians, N330 billion has been disbursed directly to 8 million households under the social investment programme.

On security, the administration has prioritized the welfare and equipment of our armed forces and security agencies. There has been increased funding, better intelligence coordination, and renewed operations that have led to the neutralization of key threats and the reopening of previously unsafe communities and farmlands.

The goal is clear: restore peace, protect lives and property, and create an enabling environment for farmers, businesses and investors to thrive across the country.

Infrastructure delivery has also been accelerated as a driver of jobs and growth. Major transport projects including the Kano-Katsina-Maradi rail line, Kaduna-Kano rail and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway are progressing rapidly to connect the nation and reduce logistics costs.

Beyond roads and rails, investments in power, housing and digital infrastructure are ongoing to support industries, schools and healthcare delivery nationwide.

Other critical sectors are also growing. The solid minerals industry, especially coal mining, recorded 57.5% growth in Q2 2025 and is now one of the fastest-growing sectors.

The economy is growing at its fastest pace in four years with GDP at 4.23% in Q2 2025, while inflation has eased to 20.12%, the lowest in three years. Investor confidence is back — Nigeria’s credit rating has been upgraded, the stock market hit an all-time high of 142,000 points and over 510,000 students have benefited from the NELFUND student loan scheme.

This is Renewed Hope in action. The reforms are working, our people are safer, infrastructure is expanding, the economy is recovering and prosperity is near.
