……Group Says Kogi Governor’s Dual Role Will Mobilise Massive Votes For PBAT In January Poll.

Lokoja — The Jagaban Grassroots Movement has commended Kogi State Governor, _Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo_, on his appointment as Deputy Director in charge of Finance of the Presidential Campaign Council, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership and commitment to the APC.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Coordinator of the group, _Hon. Samuel Obasun_, the movement also noted Ododo’s designation as the Kogi State Coordinator of the campaign, saying both roles would energize party members and supporters ahead of the January presidential election.
Obasun said the appointment reflects President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s confidence in Governor Ododo’s organisational ability and capacity to deliver results.
“The appointment of Governor Ododo as Deputy Director in charge of Finance of the Presidential Campaign Council is well deserved.
His appointment as the Kogi State Coordinator of the campaign will further spur all the Ododo foot soldiers to work harder and deliver Kogi State to Mr President,” he stated.
According to him, the Governor has maintained peace, discipline and unity within the APC in Kogi, and has built a strong political structure capable of mobilising voters across the state.
The Coordinator highlighted the impact of the partnership between the Kogi State Government and the Tinubu administration, noting that numerous projects and interventions attracted to the state have improved infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and security.
He said the visible results of both federal and state interventions would resonate with the electorate and translate into massive support for President Tinubu at the polls.
“Governor Ododo has ensured that our party remains peaceful, disciplined and focused. He has built a structure that is ready to mobilise the people and reward Mr President for the special interest his administration has shown in the development of Kogi State,” Obasun added.
The Jagaban Grassroots Movement assured that its members and other supporters of the President across Kogi would work closely with the Governor and the campaign structure to secure a comprehensive victory for the APC.
Obasun expressed confidence that Kogi State would reciprocate President Tinubu’s support with an overwhelming electoral mandate in January, and that Governor Ododo would lead the campaign to a historic win for the party in the state.
“Kogi is ready to deliver. With this appointment, we are more determined to mobilise massively for PBAT,” he concluded.
