Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on his 58th birthday, commending his commitment to strengthening unity and stability within the party.
Governor Ododo, in a congratulatory message personally signed by him, described Yilwatda as a dedicated party leader whose experience, wisdom and leadership have contributed significantly to the growth and stability of the APC.
The Kogi governor said Yilwatda’s return as National Chairman at the party’s 2026 National Convention demonstrated the confidence and trust members and stakeholders have in his ability to steer the affairs of the ruling party.
He noted that the APC chairman had brought his wealth of experience, intellectual capacity and understanding of contemporary political dynamics to bear in providing leadership for the party at a critical period in Nigeria’s political development.
Ododo particularly commended Yilwatda for his efforts toward strengthening the structures of the APC and promoting unity among members, saying such efforts were essential to the party’s continued success.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Kogi State, I warmly congratulate our dear National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
“Your leadership of our great party at this important moment in our national journey has demonstrated courage, wisdom, maturity and a clear commitment to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress,” Ododo said.
The Governor further praised Yilwatda for providing the leadership required to keep the APC focused on delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He expressed confidence that the National Chairman would continue to deploy his experience and leadership capacity toward consolidating the gains of the APC and advancing the interests of the party and the nation.
Ododo also noted that Yilwatda’s leadership would remain important as the APC continues to strengthen its structures and prepare for the political challenges and opportunities ahead.
The Governor prayed to Almighty God to grant Professor Yilwatda good health, wisdom and many more years of fruitful service to the APC, Nigeria and humanity.
