The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Omoniyi Ismail Oluwaseun, has led members of the Local Government Area Executive Committee (LGA EXCO) and APC Ward Chairmen on a special appreciation visit to the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), in recognition of his unwavering support for party members and his commitment to the growth and unity of the party.
During the visit, the APC leaders commended TAT for his recent distribution of Ileya welfare packages, including cows, rams, bags of rice and other essential items to party members across the LCDA.
They described the initiative as a demonstration of responsive and people-oriented leadership that continues to strengthen the bond between the party and its grassroots supporters.
The delegation also expressed appreciation for the allocation of pilgrimage slots to two prominent APC members within the local government, noting that the gesture reflected TAT’s inclusive leadership style and his commitment to rewarding loyalty, dedication and service to the party.
The party executives further praised TAT for ensuring the peaceful, transparent and successful conduct of the APC Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly primary elections in Ejigbo LCDA.
According to them, his exemplary leadership, effective coordination and commitment to party unity were instrumental in guaranteeing a smooth and orderly electoral process.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Omoniyi Ismail Oluwaseun expressed profound gratitude to TAT for his continuous support, welfare interventions and dedication to the advancement of the APC in Ejigbo.
He reaffirmed the confidence of party leaders in the Chairman’s ability to continue mobilising support for the party and its candidates ahead of future elections.
Responding, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo thanked the APC executives and Ward Chairmen for the visit and their unwavering support.
He reiterated his commitment to the progress and success of the party and pledged to intensify efforts towards securing resounding victories for all APC candidates in forthcoming elections.
Aare TAT specifically reaffirmed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; the APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat; the APC Lagos West Senatorial Candidate, Distinguished Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule; the APC House of Representatives Candidate for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II, Hon. Otunba Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello-Obe; and the APC Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon. Ladi Ajomale Esq., as well as other APC candidates across Lagos State.
The visit also featured special Islamic and Christian prayers for sustained peace, unity and progress in Nigeria. Clerics from both faiths offered prayers for divine wisdom, protection, good health and greater accomplishments for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, while seeking God’s continued blessings upon their leadership and service to the nation, Lagos State and the people of Ejigbo LCDA.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by party leaders, executives and Ward Chairmen to strengthen party unity, deepen grassroots mobilisation and work collectively towards ensuring the continued success of the APC in Ejigbo LCDA, Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II, Lagos State and beyond.
