The National Central Working Council (NCWC) of the Tourism Vanguard for Tinubu (TVT) has unveiled its 36 State Coordinators across the federation as part of efforts to strengthen nationwide mobilisation and support for the tourism and economic agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement signed by the National Coordinator of TVT, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, the newly appointed coordinators were carefully selected through a transparent and merit-based process involving professionals from both the public and private sectors.
The organisation described the unveiling as a strategic step toward consolidating its national structure and deepening grassroots engagement in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The statement noted that the appointees include serving and retired Permanent Secretaries, Directors-General of state agencies, experienced administrators, and respected private sector leaders drawn from different parts of the country.
TVT stated that the new structure would improve operational efficiency, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and expand awareness of the achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly in tourism development, cultural diplomacy, creative industry expansion, and economic diversification.
The group also commended the Minister of Culture, Tourism, Arts and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, for what it described as her visionary leadership in repositioning Nigeria’s tourism and creative sectors for economic growth and global relevance.
According to the statement, the minister has endorsed the movement and accepted the role of National Matron, a development the organisation said would further strengthen collaboration between government policies and civic-driven tourism advocacy.
The organisation also acknowledged the contributions of Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku to religious tourism and community development in Nigeria, noting that his acceptance as National Patron of the movement reinforces its cultural and moral foundation.
