The Tourism Vanguard for Tinubu (TVT) has unveiled its national organizational structure as part of efforts to promote tourism development, good governance, and mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made in a press statement issued by the National Central Working Council (NCWC) under the leadership of the Convener and National Coordinator of the movement, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon.
According to the statement, the newly unveiled structure consists of 15 specialized directorates alongside coordinators across the six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The movement also disclosed that the official unveiling of its 36 state coordinators will take place next Tuesday as part of its nationwide expansion drive.
TVT described the development as a significant milestone that reflects its commitment to building a professionally coordinated platform focused on tourism development, grassroots mobilization, national unity, and support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The movement announced its core national leadership, including Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon as National Coordinator, Dr. Adeyinka Olarinmoye as National Deputy Coordinator, and Engr. K.A. Abolarin as National Secretary.
Other key appointments include Amb. Emmanuel Oyira as Director of Finance, Prof. Afolabi Isolaowa as Director of Strategy and Policy, Hon. Abiola Jagunlabi as Director of Government Relations, Amb. Mutiu Adepoju as Director of Sports, and Alhaji Oyeniran Apata as Director of Communication and Media.
Also appointed were Dr. Abiodun Latifat Lasisi as Director of Welfare, Alhaji Gbenga Sunmonu as Director of Corporate Affairs, Alhaja Aolat Sule as Director of Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Precious Okonji as Director of Tourism Associations Mobilization and Coordination, Mr. Odewale Odeyemi as Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, and Comrade Benjamin Onileowo as Director of Youth Engagement.
The statement further listed several prominent members appointed into various national directorates to strengthen administration, mobilization, tourism advocacy, media coordination, and stakeholder engagement within the organization.
In addition, the movement unveiled its zonal coordinators, including Hon. Atuloma Onyekachi for the South East, Mr. Talabi Jamiu for the South West, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo for the South South, Mr. Bello Muhammed Gwagwada for the North East, Alhaji Isiya Salihu Shinkafi for the North West, Mr. Jonathan Justin Akem for the North Central, and Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Sule as FCT Coordinator.
Speaking on behalf of the NCWC, Hon. Nunayon said the structures were established to ensure effective coordination of the movement’s activities nationwide while strengthening engagement with stakeholders in the tourism industry and beyond.
He noted that tourism remains one of Nigeria’s most promising sectors with vast potential for economic growth, job creation, youth empowerment, cultural promotion, foreign investment, and community development.
According to him, TVT was founded on the vision of using tourism as a strategic tool for national development while supporting policies and leadership capable of repositioning Nigeria economically and socially.
Hon. Nunayon emphasized the movement’s belief in continuity of governance and sustained reforms under President Tinubu’s administration, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda is laying the foundation for long-term economic transformation and institutional growth.
“The unveiling of these structures represents our determination to build a formidable nationwide movement that will not only mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition in 2027 but also advocate for tourism-driven development, youth inclusion, economic opportunities, and good governance across the country,” the statement said.
He explained that the six geopolitical zones and the FCT would serve as regional coordination hubs linking the national leadership with incoming state coordinators to ensure effective grassroots mobilization across the federation.
The movement added that beyond political activities, it remains committed to promoting Nigeria’s tourism potential, cultural heritage, peaceful coexistence, and national integration through strategic advocacy and citizen engagement.
TVT also pledged collaboration with government institutions, tourism operators, development partners, private sector organizations, and cultural stakeholders to reposition Nigeria as a leading tourism destination in Africa.
The organization maintained that tourism could become a major contributor to the nation’s economy if supported with improved infrastructure, security, investment-friendly policies, destination marketing, and stronger public-private partnerships.
The NCWC disclosed that the newly inaugurated structures would immediately commence consultations, stakeholder engagements, awareness campaigns, tourism advocacy programmes, community outreach, and grassroots mobilization activities nationwide.
The movement called on Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora to support initiatives that promote tourism advancement, national development, economic transformation, and responsible governance.
Observers believe the emergence of TVT highlights the increasing role of organized grassroots movements in shaping political participation and public engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
