The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, has urged residents to embrace love, service, and sacrifice as Christians across the world commemorate Good Friday.
In his Good Friday message to the people of Ejigbo, signed and released by his Chief Press Secretary Damilola Onadeko,the chairman described the day as a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the enduring lessons of humility, selflessness, and compassion for humanity.
Taiwo noted that the growth and development of Ejigbo LCDA have always been driven by unity, resilience, and a shared commitment among residents to build a peaceful and prosperous community.
He emphasized that the significance of Good Friday calls for renewed faith, stronger neighbourly relationships, and collective efforts toward sustaining peace and development across the LCDA.
The chairman also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to purposeful leadership and people-oriented initiatives aimed at moving Ejigbo forward.
He expressed hope that the lessons of Good Friday would renew hope and bring peace to every home in Ejigbo, while encouraging residents to continue working together for the progress of the community.
