Chairman Council Of Ndieze,Eze Nwokedi Felicitates Muslims On Eid,Urges Nigerians To Embrace Peace And Unity.

The Chairman Council of Ndieze, Lagos state,Eze Ambassador Chika.C. Nwokedi has felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In his goodwill message on Friday ,June 6, 2025,Eze Nwokedi stressed the significance of the occasion which is not only important for the Muslim faithfuls but for the entire nation.
He emphasised the importance of selflessness, love, and devotion to God, urging Muslims and Nigerians in general to imbibe the spirit of peace and unity that Eid-el-Kabir embodies.
” I want to wish our Muslims brothers and sisters a happy sallah celebration,it is not easy to see this year’s sallah celebration and so shall it be that we will experience and witness next year celebration.”
“The lessons of Eid-el-Kabir resonate strongly in our quest for a more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria. As we witness this year’s celebration let us use the occasion to bring peace and unity in Ijegun and Ijedodo community,Lagos state and Nigeria in general because by so doing it would bring understanding in building bridges across religious and cultural divides.”
“No matter your ethnic background we are one,as so many individual have taken different people’s blood from different ethnic group when they were sick or any of their family members so we are one and should embrace peace and unity in our community “he said
While praying that the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir would guide Nigerians in their pursuit of a better country,the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and Ijedodo community wished Muslims a joyous and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
” My prayers for all us today is that this year’s celebration would bring us more closer to God almighty ” he stated
Eze Nwokedi, the Okpoko 1 of Okpoko used the occasion to congratulate the Oba of Ijegun community,Oba Nuremi Akinyemi on his celebration of 15years on the throne.
” Let me use this opportunity to congratulate the Oba of Ijegun community, Oba Nuremi Akinyemi on his 15 years on the throne and also wish him a happy sallah celebration. He is the father of all of us because we are under his jurisdiction. I pray that the almighty God gives him good health to witness next year celebration” he concluded
