NASFAT Empathizes With JAMB Registrar Prof. Oloyede On UTME Technical Faults

Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has extended heartfelt empathy to the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede, over the technical setbacks that marred the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The society acknowledges the immense pressure faced by JAMB and recognizes the challenges involved in managing such a national assignment.

In a release signed by the National Public Relation Secretary, Alhaji Shansideen Owolabi Oseni stated that in a rare show of transparency and accountability, Professor Oloyede publicly accepted responsibility on behalf of JAMB for the glitches that led to mass failure among applicants.

This remarkable act of integrity has not gone unnoticed as NASFAT regards his boldness and sincerity as a beacon of leadership in Nigeria’s public institutions.

The President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf,applauded the registrar’s courage and sense of duty. He noted that such honesty, especially in the face of public scrutiny, is highly commendable and worthy of national emulation.

NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offered prayers for Professor Oloyede, describing him as a patriotic figure who should inspire others across the country. He emphasized the importance of truth and moral fortitude in governance.

He went on to say that NASFAT calls for a compassionate and fair resit of the exams, urging institutions to prioritize justice, responsibility, and reform in Nigeria’s education system.
