……….As Assemblies of God Church, Ejigbo 2,Transformation Center celebrates mother’s day in grand style.

Mothers have been urged to prioritize cultivating a strong, cordial relationship with God, as this will enable them to establish peaceful, have godly homes and all round increase in their daily life.
The call was made by the Rev. Dr.Mrs Prisca Timpaul during the 2025 Mother’s day celebration of the Assemblies of God Church,Ejigbo 2 Transformation Center held on Sunday 11,May 2025 at the Church premise.
Addressing the congregations,Rev Mrs Timpaul emphasised the critical role of mothers play in shaping families and communities, describing their love as selfless, resilient, and unwavering. “From the cradle to adulthood, mothers nurture, guide, and instil the virtues of faith, integrity, and service,” she said.
Speaking on the theme “All round increase- God’s promise for all believers from the book of Genesis 12:1-3,24:7,17:2,she noted that God wants all his children to live in abundance and experience all round increase.
“As women of faith, we must respond urgently by putting our homes in proper perspective through the teaching of God’s words. Let our children and our homes be grounded and rooted in the word of God.
“For us to have all round increase in various lives,we need to have faith and obedience as we see in the life of Abraham as faith still remains one of the requirements that can attract all round increase and trusting God ability.”
“When we are financially increased,we will be able to support our husbands,homes and give to others that are in need.”she said.
Earlier, the Women ministry president, Deaconess Ogechi Agu stated that this year’s theme “Year of all round increase” quoting from the book of 1 Chronicles 4:10,Psalm 71:21 and Genesis 26:12 suggest that the increase the mothers would experience in 2025 and beyond is not limited to one aspect of their lives rather it is in all areas such as spiritual, physical, emotional, financial and material increase.
She said that believers should not feel contented in view of the challenges they live with daily, hence the need to always contend for their faith in God.
According to her,children of God should also seek to grow in the Lord by praying always, steadfast in the love of God and depend on the mercy of God.
“It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to this joyous occasion of celebration, testimonies and lifting. This annual gathering is always accompanied with joy of fulfilled dreams, thanksgiving, answered prayers, testimonies and blessings.”
” This year’s mother’s day celebration is 2025 year of all round increase which suggest that the increase we will experience in 2025 and beyond is not limited to one aspect of our lives rather it is in all areas such as spiritual, physical, emotional, financial and material increase “she said.
While highlighting some of the achievements recorded by the women ministry,she called on Christian mothers to rise up and contend for the faith by ensuring total sound doctrines of Jesus Christ are taught to their children, underscoring the importance of teaching God’s words to children at home in order to safeguard them from moral decadence that is fastly eroding godly virtues and responsible behaviours among young people.
” We will not fail to empathize all the good things the lord has done for the church and the women ministry as a whole,no woman is found wanting in this year’s celebration as the women have experienced tremendous acceleration in their various homes.
“We have experienced mothers travelled out of the country for a better life, witnessed numerous additions through child birth,some promoted in their place of work and has contributed immensely to the development and growth of the church”
” Let me seize this opportunity to encourage mothers to rise up and contend for the faith by ensuring total sound doctrines of Jesus Christ are taught to their children.

Speaking with newsmen,the Church Secretary,Deacon Akpan Joseph in his goodwill message encouraged Christian mothers to stand firm in faith and continue leading with love, wisdom, and strength. “May God bless and reward you abundantly for all you do and increase you in all your endeavors, happy celebration to you all”he said.
Lending his voice, the President of the Men ministry, Elder Moses Mpama enjoined christian mothers as the backbone of the family and church to continue to stand in the gap for families, the nation, church and society at large, adding that they should not allow the current economic hardship being experienced in the country to discourage them from praying and interceding.
“I celebrate with our mothers today and my prayers for them is to always stand in the gap for their families,the church and nation at large,it is well with their soul and their homes” Mpama stated.
One of the special guest at the event,Mr Agu Stanley advised mothers to always be submissive to their husbands, encourage them and lead their children to Christ, while congratulating them on their 2025 women’s day celebration, wishing them long life and prosperity in every aspect of their lives.
Speaking with Investigator news,Rev Mrs Timpaul urged Christian mothers to embrace the theme of this year’s celebration, “Year of all round increase” by taking leadership roles in their communities, advocating for women’s and children’s rights, and promoting economic empowerment through entrepreneurship.
She noted that women’s contributions go beyond caregiving, stating that their voices and actions can drive meaningful change in the society.
“Today’s topic has to do with”All round increase -God’s promises for all believers”,so I want to encourage mothers to strive harder by obeying those principles that will make us showcase this God’s promises of all round blessings and increase”
“Women are the last weapon of God,so we are wonderfully created by God and there is great things inside of us,I believe that in Assemblies of God Church, women that matters in the society would emerged because we are the mothers of all pentecostal church”
” My advice to mothers is for them to be hardworking, persevere as they are designed to be great in life, don’t give up,no matter the situation of the country,God is still faithful.”she stated.
Investigator news reports that the 2025 Mother’s Day celebration of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria was celebrated simultaneously in Nigeria and across the world.The day presented an opportunity for people to pay tribute to their mothers and mother figures, thanking them for all their love and support.
The one week long event featured discussion,songs presentation, testimonies, games, couples night, couples dance,tying of Gele by the men and presentation of gift items to the widows among them.
