…….Urge Members to Turn Voter Registration into a Door-to-Door Campaign, Say Every PVC Is a Vote for Victory.

Ejigbo, Lagos–With preparations for the 2027 general elections gathering momentum, the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), and his Isolo LCDA counterpart, Otunba Bayo Olasoju, have intensified grassroots mobilisation, calling on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II to embark on aggressive Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration and collection across every ward and polling unit.

Speaking at the APC Constituency II meeting hosted in Ejigbo, Aare TAT described the Permanent Voter Card as the most powerful instrument in the hands of the electorate, stressing that electoral victories are secured not only through popularity but through the number of registered voters who participate in the democratic process.
He urged party members to take full advantage of the Federal Government’s two-week extension of the PVC registration exercise, including weekend registration, by reaching every eligible voter within their communities and encouraging them to register and collect their voter cards before the exercise closes.
According to him, the time for complacency is over, as every ward, street and polling unit must be fully mobilised to ensure Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II records unprecedented voter participation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Aare TAT further appealed to party faithful to remain united, committed and focused on strengthening the APC at the grassroots, noting that unity, discipline and sustained engagement with the people remain the foundation of lasting electoral success.
He also called on members to work tirelessly for the re-election of Hon. Ladi Ajomale as the representative of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly and to support the emergence of Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello (Obe) as the member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives.
In his remarks, Otunba Bayo Olasoju echoed the call for intensified mobilisation, urging party leaders, ward executives and supporters to transform the PVC registration exercise into a constituency-wide movement capable of delivering overwhelming participation at the polls in 2027.
The meeting attracted an impressive gathering of APC stalwarts, including elder statesman and Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member, Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomale; Hon. Ladi Ajomale; Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello (Obe); Otunba Jide Oni; Alhaji Fatai Kasumu; Chief Bayo Okunola; Major R. Asebesin.

Others are Hon. Remi Gbadegeshin; Elder Olu Arulogun; Alhaji Mukaila Ajao; APC Chairmen of Ejigbo and Isolo LCDAs, Hon. Ismail Omoniyi and Hon. Akinwale Tonade, alongside party leaders, elected officials and government functionaries.

The meeting ended with a renewed resolve by APC leaders to deepen grassroots engagement, strengthen party unity and ensure that every eligible voter in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II registers for and collects a PVC, reaffirming that sustained mobilisation remains the surest path to victory in the 2027 general elections.
