2027: Aare TAT, Ejigbo APC Stakeholders Leads Endorsement Rally For Tinubu, Hamzat, Pass Vote Of Confidence.

Ejigbo –Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), led a massive endorsement rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while also declaring support for the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as the party’s preferred governorship candidate for Lagos State.

The colourful political gathering, held during a strategic meeting of the Mandate Movement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Ile Iwe Ejigbo Primary School, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups and residents from across the council area.

The event venue was filled with excitement as supporters waved flags bearing the images of President Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat, while hundreds of attendees wore customised caps branded with TAT, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and solidarity.

The highpoint of the rally was the unanimous vote of confidence passed on President Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat by party faithful and residents, who commended their leadership qualities, commitment to governance and developmental strides at both federal and state levels.

Speaking at the gathering, Aare TAT described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose courage, political experience, and reform-driven agenda continue to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth and prosperity.

He noted that the people of Ejigbo remain proud of the President’s commitment to economic recovery, infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment,national unity t and institutional reforms that require sustained leadership to deliver long-term results.

“We believe that the ongoing reforms at the federal level need time, consistency and political will to yield their full benefits,” the group said.

Aare TAT added that policy continuity would help maintain stability and ensure coherence in governance.

According to him, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to demonstrate purposeful leadership and unwavering commitment to the progress of Nigeria. His wealth of experience and dedication to nation-building make him deserving of our total support.”

 

On the governorship endorsement, the chairman described Dr. Hamzat as a competent technocrat, loyal progressive, and grassroots-oriented administrator who possesses the required experience to lead Lagos State to greater height.

He stated that Hamzat has remained a dependable pillar in the administration of the state and possesses the experience, intellect, and administrative capacity to lead Lagos to greater heights, noting that the Deputy Governor has played a critical role in the success of the current Lagos administration and remains well positioned to consolidate on the developmental achievements already recorded in the state.

“Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is a tested and trusted administrator who understands the developmental vision of Lagos State. He has the capacity to consolidate on the achievements of the current administration and move the state forward,” he said.

Aare TAT also used the occasion to highlight notable achievements recorded by his administration in Ejigbo LCDA, stressing that governance must always be centered on the welfare of the people.

He listed the renovation and rehabilitation of schools to create a better learning environment, road construction and infrastructure upgrades, installation of solar-powered street lights across communities, vocational and skills acquisition programmes for residents, and welfare initiatives targeted at improving the lives of the citizenry.

He added that his administration remains committed to delivering more dividends of democracy and ensuring sustainable grassroots development.

“Our focus has always been on people-oriented governance. We have continued to invest in education, infrastructure, security, empowerment, and welfare because the well-being of our people remains our top priority,” Aare TAT stated.

On voter mobilisation, the chairman urged residents to participate in the forthcoming Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter registration exercise and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 elections.

Investigator news reports that party leaders and supporters at the event expressed confidence that the APC would continue to enjoy widespread support in Ejigbo, Lagos State, and across the country, citing the achievements of the party at different levels of government.

Goodwill messages from various stakeholders and party leaders described Tinubu and Hamzat as a “quiet achiever” with a strong grasp of governance and policy implementation.

The gathering ended with renewed unity, solidarity songs, and a collective pledge by members to mobilize massive support for President Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
