Zone 21,Jakande Celebrates Children’s Day With Message Of Unity and Peace.

The need to preach peace, harmony, and tolerance to foster a peaceful society among children and teenagers has been re-emphasised by parents, emphasizing the crucial need to educate children on peace-building in the face of rising political divides leveraging diversity.

The call was made during the maiden edition of Miss Zone 21, kiddies King and queen organized by members and executives of Zone 21, Jakande Estate, Ejigbo Lagos to commemorate children’s day celebration 2025.
Speaking the at the event, the President Zone 21, Jakande Estate Ejigbo, Bishop Udogwu Sunny stated that education on peace-building was paramount in today’s society, stating that diversity should unite and not divide us.
Bishop Udogwu harped on the need for national integration, unity and cultural diversity among Children with a view to making the country a better place to live in, asserting that as a nation, we must strive for peaceful coexistence.
“It’s imperative we promote our cultures and the need for national integration in the society. This we should inculcate in our children, so that as they grow, they will help foster nation-building and national unity among individuals and diverse cultures,” he said.
In his address, Bishop Udogwu said that the essence of the event was to advocate for unity in diversity among the children in the zone and to celebrate children’s day with them.
He described the children as the heartbeats of every community,who must be taken care of,with good moral and western education, noting that the total wellbeing of the children in the zone is one of the top priority of the parents and executives in the zone.
Udogwu reaffirmed his commitment in ensuring that every child has access to quality education, health care and a safe learning environment.
“Today’s gathering reflects the diversities and unity of our zone. I believe we are more united now than ever and shall continue in that unity”

” I want to specifically thank everyone for their support and free donations most especially the committee members towards ensuring that this program is a success and to all winners of this year children’s day celebration, Miss Zone 21, kiddies King and queen and to the baby of the zone,I say a big congratulations to you all, you have been nominated because of your honesty,hardwork and respect to individuals and your parents, keep the flag high”he submitted
He advised the children to be of good moral behaviour,honesty and fear of God in whatever they do and also concentrate on their education in order to justify the huge investment in them by their parents and the government.
While urging parents and guardians to reflect on what was passed onto posterity, as he observed that, that way the next generation would not only dream but have the tools and conviction to build those dreams into reality.
“Children are not only the leaders of tomorrow; they are also the mirror through which society is judged. What we model today, they will replicate tomorrow. That is why it is imperative now more than ever that we, as adults, choose to live lives of purpose, integrity, and legacy.
“Our actions, values, and choices must speak louder than words. We must strive to build a nation and a world where honesty is not an exception but the standard, where empathy guides policy, and where service to humanity is the highest calling. A life well lived is one that lights the path for others to follow”he asserted.
The Chairman of the committee,Mr Akingboye Victor applauded the Chairman and members of his executives for putting up such initiative in celebrating the children and creating unity in diversity among the residents, stating that the residents would expect more of such programs and activities that would bring peace and unity in Zone 21.
Mr Akingboye opined that different varieties has been lined up for the pleasure of the children including the crowning of Miss Zone 21, kiddies King and queen and baby of the year.
He advised the children to keep growing in God’s knowledge, focus on their education, listen to their parents, while praying that God will continually guide and protect them.
Investigator news reports that children from within and outside the community were in the high spirits as the maiden edition of Children’s day celebration of Zone 21 Jakande Estate took place, featuring varieties of activities such news presentation,games,cultural dances and crowning of Miss Zone 21, kiddies King and queen courtesy of the President of Zone 21 Jakande Estate.
At the end Ijeoma Jude was crowned as Miss Zone 21,Jabeen Akintunde as the Kiddies King,Anabel Nwosu as Kiddies queen and Success Akingboye as baby of Zone 21.
Speaking with investigator news,Miss Zone 21,Ijeoma Jude says she feel so excited as she was not expecting it , while thanking the executives and her friends for giving her the privilege to serve as she would ensure that there is oneness and love among the children.
The kiddies King and queen,Jabeen Akintunde and Anabel Nwosu respectively advised their peers to always obey their parents and their teachers, learn to greet their elders and concentrate on their studies.
Mrs Akingboye, mummy to baby Success Akingboye (baby of the zone) expressed joy and appreciation to the members and executives of Zone 21 for the privilege as she was not expecting it.
” This is awesome and I want to say a big thank you to the members of the executive and to everyone for recognizing my baby as the baby of the zone. This is first of its kind and I urge the children to always obey their parents and guardians so that their future will be bright” she said.
Also,Mrs Loveth Akintunde (mother to kiddies King) said that she feel so good and excited, while appreciating the newly elected executives in ensuring that they take the zone to the next level, praying that their work would never go in vain.
” We the members of the community we will continue to pledge our loyalty and be ready to comply with them so as to move the community forward,I want to also to the children to be loyal, obedient and always be opportunistic in whatever they do” she submitted.
Lending their voices, the Secretary General of the zone,Rev Olutayo Adewusi urge the children to always aim high, dream big and follow it up with actions, while calling on the residents to always live in peace and unity as it will create a conducive environment for a better society.
Mrs Oke described the event as a splendid one as the community never knew that the program would be a memorable one, noting that the program which brought children from different background and culture would certainly bring peace and tranquility within the community.
While applauding the executives for such initiative, urge the children to always obey their parents, avoid discrimination,love one another especially the downtrodden and the physically challenged children so as to move the community forward and have a better future.
