The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) celebrated World Teachers’ Day with the 2024 theme “Valuing Teachers’ Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education.”

This theme highlights the crucial role educators play in shaping societies and emphasizes the importance of including teachers in educational reforms.

NASFAT went further to acknowledge Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as the first teacher of repute and integrity, whose teachings inspire the values of knowledge and truth upheld by the Society. His legacy continues to serve as a model for educators worldwide.

Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf praised the efforts of teachers and reaffirmed their commitment to delivering quality education. The appointment of Prof. (Mrs) Busurat Oluwakemi Adekola as the National Education Secretary reflects NASFAT’s dedication to promoting Islamic, vocational, and Western education through quality teachers.

He expressed confidence that under Prof. Adekola’s leadership, the Society would continue to uphold high standards of education, fostering intellectual and moral growth among students.
