In a gesture of goodwill and sportsmanship, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Ms. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim hosted the Captain of the IBB lnternational Golf Club,Ms Julie Okah-Donli,along with members of the club’s Women’s Wing who paid her a courtesy visit in her office.
During the visit, the Women’s Wing extended an invitation to the Honourable Minister to attend their upcoming women’s golf tournament.
Investigator news reports that the event aims to promote women’s participation in golf and provide a platform for female golfers to showcase their skills.
Investigator news gathered that the IBB International Golf Club has a strong tradition of supporting women’s golf, with events like the IBB Ladies Open Championship, which attracts participants from across Africa.
It will be recalled that the club’s efforts to empower women through golf align with Minister Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s commitment to promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality in accordance with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
