As The Face of Ejigbo And Face of Educare Beauty Pageant,enters Season 4 ,preparation has commenced in earnest for the successful hosting of the annual beauty contest.

 

The Face of Ejigbo And Educare Beauty Pageant, is scheduled to hold on Saturday 30,August 2025 at 31, Muyili Oshode Street, Ejigbo, Lagos.

In a press conference organized by West Coast Connections,organisers of the beauty pageant, announced that entry has commenced without delay,stating that submission of applications closes first week of August 2025 while screening of applicants is scheduled for Monday 23rd of August, 2025 at 31,Muyiliu Oshode Street, Ejigbo Lagos.

The Convener of the event,Mr Onyekachi Charles explained that the concept of “The Face of Ejigbo and Educare Beauty Pageant”which is an annual beauty pageant is an essential tool to offer scholarship to all the contestants and showcase the aesthetics of the global brand Lagos State which goes beyond showcasing the beauty of our children but also bringing to the fore the essence of continually sustaining our cultural heritage for domestic tourism promotion.

 

He stated that the event which is opened for the Junior Category (7-14 years) and the Senior Category (16-22 years)would be used to nurture and develop inherent talent and skills of the contestants and their costumers for their empowerment.

“This is not about beauty alone but to use the occasion to promote education and find a true hidden treasures which still geared to its diverse culture, heritage, our history to the world.

“The winner for the Junior Category will go home with a cash prize of N100,00, while the Senior Category will take N100,000 as the cash prize,also a scholarship in any of our accredited institution and schools would be given to all contestant ”

“This beauty pageant show is coming from the stable of the West Coast Connections and will be in collaboration with 7 higher institutions and 2 secondary schools with a registration fee of N2,000 in all categories” he stated.

Also,the organizers went further to state that the organization is introducing”Queen of the Kitchen Competition ” and Quiz, Debate, Spelling B Competition and bible knowledge” to spice up the event.

Mr Charles noted that the beauty pageant which is projected positively will promote beauty and brains as the organizers have promised to showcase a distinct beauty pageant to be remembered for a long time, noting that winner of the competition will be going home with the cash prize of N200,000 for cooking competition at 2,000 votes, while the Quiz, Debate, Spelling B and bible knowledge Competition which is open for contestants of 6-18years of age would take the cash prize of N100,000 and N100,000 for the Junior and Senior Category respectively.

” The competition which is in collaboration with Ahman Pategi University,Kwara State,Legacy University,Okija Anambra State,Best Solution Polytechnic,Ondo State, Great Shepherd University,Port Novo, Republic of Benin,Institute of Industrial Technology,Isherin North, Lagos State,Geedystar College of Health Technology,Oshogbo,Osun State.

“Others are Simmic College of Health Technology, Ejigbo Study Center Lagos, West Coast International School, Ejigbo Lagos,King Edward Primary and Secondary school,Ejigbo,Lagos would be given scholarship to all participants in various competitions as the scholarships is transferable to children from other families of their choice “he submitted.
