The Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has strongly condemned a viral video allegedly showing students of Excel College in Ejigbo Lagos engaging in acts of immorality, including smoking and drinking alcohol.
In a press release signed by the Executive Chairman and made available to Investigator news,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo stated that the council has taken immediate action to investigate the incident, working with relevant stakeholders to ascertain the level of negligence and take disciplinary measures against those found culpable.
The Council boss who frowned at the viral video being circulated,condemned the acts, citing their detrimental impact on the moral upbringing of children, stating that a thorough investigation is underway, involving parents, school authorities, security agencies, and medical personnel.
He noted that those found culpable will face disciplinary action to serve as a deterrent and prevent future incidents.

“The attention of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been drawn to a video circulating on social media allegedly showing students of our Excel College, Ejigbo engaging in acts of immorality, including smoking, drinking alcohol, and other indecent behaviors.”
“The LCDA strongly condemns such acts, which are unacceptable in our community and detrimental to the moral upbringing of our children.”
“As a responsible government, the Ejigbo LCDA has immediately taken steps to intervene and ascertain the level of negligence that allowed such an act to occur.”
“We are currently working with relevant stakeholders, including parents, school authorities, security agencies, and medical personnel, to carry out a thorough investigation.”
“Disciplinary measures will be taken against all found culpable, to serve as a deterrent and prevent a recurrence of such unfortunate incidents in the future”he said.
Aare Taiwo went further to appeal to members of the public to maintain decorum and not to dignify the incident by further circulating the video, noting that Ejigbo LCDA remains committed to the moral, academic, and social wellbeing of all students within our community and will continue to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a safe, disciplined, and value-driven learning environment.
