Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State paid a visit yesterday to the recently burned office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogrute, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of the state.
Gov. Ugwuanyi, who was greeted by the member representing Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Hon. Simon Atigwe, and the Chairman of Igbo-Eze North LGA, Hon. Engr. Ejike Itodo, among others, inspected the INEC facility.
Following that, the governor moved around the council area, assessing and interacting with residents about the importance of continuing to encourage and support security agencies in their efforts to protect life and property.
