Tributes At Eighth-Day Fidau Prayer For Late Oba Agbabiaka.

Tributes continued to pour in for the late Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka as his eighth-day Islamic ‘Fidau’ prayer was held on Wednesday in Lagos.
The Fidau prayer, which was held at the palace of Late Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, had in attendance dignitaries, clerics and traditional rulers across lsolo and Lagos state.
The monarch,died last week at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital Lagos after a brief illness.
The Grand Chief Imam of Isolo kingdom, Alhaji Quzin Otabayomi Ajiyan led other Muslim leaders at the prayer.

Sheikh Raheem Ali Ajagbe an lslamic lecturer, during his lecture, harped on the need for people to keep doing good while alive as they do not know when they’ll return to their maker, noting that the late Oba lived a fulfilled life as he was seen by everyone to be accommodating,one who can tolerate and ensure that you are safe.
He enjoined all Muslim faithfuls to live an upright life, because no one knows when his creator would invite him/her.
Speaking with The lnvestigator News, one of the late Osolo of lsolo’s children, Princess Kabirat Adenike Agbabiaka described the death of their father as a great loss, stating that the news of his death came to them as a great shock
Princess Adenike said her father was a very tolerant and non-tribalistic person, one who tries to bring everyone together,adding that religion was a personal thing to him.
“He was a very tolerant person. He was very supportive, especially when his children are concerned, and always very comforting,we are still in shock because he is loved by everyone. He does not discriminate,in short he was a hero”
“For all he has achieved let the name of the Almighty Allah be praised,my prayers today is for God to grant him eternal rest and for we the children let him give us the fortitude to bear the loss because it is a great shock “she submitted.
The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area,Hon Mrs Ramotallai Olanrewaju Akinola Hassan stated that the late monarch was like a father,a revolutionary and an awesome man.
Alhaja Hassan went further to describe the late Oba Agbabiaka as one who always cater for those in need especially those who come to him for assistance, while praying that his legacy would endure.
The eloquent Chairperson opined that Almighty Allah would continue to grant him eternal rest, protect his children and family and above all, give the people of lsolo the wisdom and understanding in getting a new Oba that would surpass the good legacy,Oba Kabiru must have put in place.
Meanwhile, the State Chairman All Progressive Congress,Hon Cornelius Ojelabi has said that the late Olubadan died when he was needed the most.
Addressing journalists at the prayer venue,Hon Ojelabi said the death of the late Osolo of lsolo was a rude shock to him, adding that his exit was a great loss to the state and the party APC.
“It is not how far or how long but within the reign of Oba Agbabiaka, he was committed to the development of his area and the state in general. He lived a noble life,he supported the party APC because he wants developmental projects to be attracted to his people. We will surely miss him, though he has contributed his own quota,it is now left for us to continue with the same legacy he left behind “he said
The party leader went further to appeal to the people of lsolo to make the right choice in electing the new Oba,because it is with unity they can achieve this goal.
In a vote of thanks, the brother to the late Oba and Vice Chairman lsolo Local council development area,Hon Prince Monsuru Alagba Agbabiaka thanked the dignitaries that came to commiserate with the family.
