Vice President Kashim Shettima turned 57 today, September 2. President Bola Tinubu has expressed his congratulations.
In his birthday letter to Shettima, Tinubu congratulated the vice president for his “undying dedication” and “unwavering commitment” to the country.
Dear Shettima, as you mark your 57th year, I take a moment to reflect on the adventure we have undergone together in the service of our great nation, said the statement uploaded on the president’s official Instagram profile, @officialasiwajubat, on Saturday.
“Your journey from the University of Maiduguri classrooms to the highest levels of leadership is a testimonial to your unshakable commitment, unflinching loyalty, and unmatched wisdom.
“Your bravery, particularly during those difficult years in Borno State, has made an everlasting impression. Along with your perseverance in the face of difficulty, you stand out for your intellectual prowess and inventive energy.
“I am privileged to call you a friend in addition to being happy to have you as our vice president. May you have the same grace, wisdom, and strength in the years to come as you have displayed throughout the years.
