The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, Tuesday 27, August,2024 inspected ongoing development sites in the local government.
The Council’s helmsman, alongside top APC leaders in Somolu, including Apostle Peter Oyewusi, Alhaji Fatai Bakare, and Hon. Demola Olisa, toured the ongoing projects.
Investigator news reports that projects under inspection includes the New Somolu Legislative Complex, Somolu Fire Service Station, and Bashua Police Station, alongside numerous roads with interlocking stones and solar-powered streetlights.
The delegation who were part of the inspection include Mr. Layo Benson, Hon. Mike Oikeh, Hon. Yomi Osunkoya, and Hon. Segun Fehintola, who commended Hon. Salawu for his infrastructural advancements.
In another development,Hon Salawu received an exemplary leadership award from CPS Ayodele Ayeyemi led Conference57 CPS.
The award ceremony, filled with light-hearted moments, was enlivened by CPS Opeyemi Azeez and CPS Sheriff Fakunle.
During the event, ‘Dullar’ proudly announced that the soon-to-be-commissioned Somolu Local Government Administrative Complex is of global standard.
In addition to the Administrative Complex, Hon. Salawu unveiled plans to commission the new Olaleye Ultramodern Market on Friday, August 30, 2024.
He emphasized that several other significant projects in the local government are nearing completion and will be commissioned in the coming weeks.
Numerous councilors, executive council members, and party loyalists joined Hon. Salawu in receiving the leadership award, marking a significant milestone in Somolu’s infrastructural development.
