The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon.Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’,has celebrated Eid-al-Adha with a generous distribution of food items and cash gifts to residents and stakeholders, showcasing his people-first approach to governance.
Investigator news reports that each of the eight wards in Somolu Local Government received five bags of rice and ₦1 million,while religious groups, market leaders, Baales, and community development committees also benefited from the gesture.
Others who benefited from food items include the artisans,executive and legislative council members as well as management team received a variety of Sallah gifts—ranging from livestock and food items to cash donations.
Supporting the All Progressives Congress party’s Sallah celebration, the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, contributed 10 additional bags of rice per ward, reinforcing the message of unity and partnership in service to the people.
Investigator news gathered that Hon Dullar’s gesture reflects the progressive vision of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, demonstrating that true governance is best measured by its impact on the people.
