The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has congratulated Her Excellency, Dame (Dr.) Virgy Etiaba, CON, the former Governor of Anambra State, on the occasion of her 83rd birthday today.
In his congratulatory remarks,signed by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Christian Aburime,Governor Soludo stated that Dame Etiaba’s remarkable stint as a former first female governor of Anambra State has not only paved the way for women in leadership but has also left an unforgettable mark on the socio-political landscape of the State.
He noted that her dedication,vision,and resilience in breaking barriers have continued to prove that leadership knows no gender.
The Governor went further to note that beyond her historic tenure,Dame Etiaba’s relentless commitment to the advancement of education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment in Anambra has had a profound impact on the lives of countless families, while her legacy of service and passion for community development is still appreciated.
