The Skibanj Group, led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroot Sports Development,Mr. Atewogboye Adebanji Adeoye, has launched a grassroots sensitization campaign in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I to educate residents about the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.
Investigator news reports that the team conducted house-to-house mobilization, urging eligible voters to participate in the registration process and obtain or revalidate their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs).
According to the Convener Hon Skibanj, the campaign is aimed to empower residents to translate their voices into actions by taking advantage of the CVR opportunity.
He admonished the residents not to miss the opportunity of the CVR without either getting their new PVC, or revalidating it.
Investigator news gathered that the team kicked off the house-to-house mobilization exercise from Owoseni Primary School, Adeyemi Street, to mobilize and sensitize eligible voters about the importance of participating in the CVR exercise.
Those who participated in the tour include the Ex- Secretary to Local Government (SLG), Hon. Akinsanya Smart and the former Supervisor on Agric, Youth, Sports and Social Development, Hon. Adetona Mamora
