Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has responded to the murder of Rev. Fr. Vitus Borogo, a Catholic priest, by armed men who are thought to be bandits in Kaduna State.
After a raid on the farm, it was learned that the incident took place on Saturday at the Prison Farm, Kujama, on the Kaduna-Kachia Road.
In a statement on Saturday night, Rev. Fr. Christian Emmanuel of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria confirmed the death of Borogo.
Sani denounced Borogo’s murder and called it an unfortunate incident.
The former lawmaker stated in a tweet that it was sad, unfortunate, and condemnable that terrorists had killed Reverend Father Vitrus Bogoro of the Kaduna polytechnic Catholic Church on his farm in Kaduna.
