Following the defection of Anambra State Young Progressive Party (YPP) Woman Leader, Mrs. Ngozi Ubah, to the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s camp is filled with fear (APGA).
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represents Anambra South Senatorial District, is currently sweating over a tsunami that is slowly crippling his political structure.
Mrs. Ngozi Ubah, who is also the National Leader of Active Voters, is said to have defected due to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s lack of integrity and unreliability.
Ngozi Ubah, also known as Ka Nwanyi Jekene, who was in charge of mobilising women for Senator Ubah, has joined the APGA and is said to be rooting for Hon. Engr. Emeka Chris Azubogu, the APGA’s Anambra South Senatorial Candidate for the 2023 election, to replace his former boss, Ifeanyi Ubah.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s defection to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) is said to be the final burial of his political structure, which was instrumental in his election in the 2019 General Election.
It will be recalled that Chief Michael Nweke Okechukwu, the founder of the Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement (IUSM), and Mr. Mbazulike Iloka, the National Leader of the AfaIgboEfuna Movement, who were the leaders of the political structure that led to Ifeanyi Ubah’s 2019 Anambra South Senatorial Victory, both dumped him a few months ago.
