The late Senator lfeanyi Ubah has been described as a beacon of hope and a champion of economic empowerment to many youths and individuals in the society.
In a condolences message signed by the Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin,Eze Prosper Chukwuka over the death of the Senator who represented Anambra South Senatorial district at the Red chamber of the National Assembly.
Eze Chukwuka stated that the death of Senator lfeanyi Ubah came to the people of South East as a big blow, knowing that the death of another illustrious son Emmanuel lwuanyanwu is still fresh in the minds of the Igbos.
He said,“Senator Ubah was a very dear brother and someone you can rely on. A committed patriot, greatly respected business tycoon and passionate parliamentarian. He handled every private endeavour and public governance duty with extraordinary dedication and resourcefulness in our nation’s collective interest.”.
“Prior to his illustrious career in public service, Senator Ifeanyi Uba distinguished himself as a prominent businessman and philanthropist. As the founder and CEO of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, he made substantial contributions to Nigeria’s energy sector, fostering economic growth and creating numerous job opportunities.”
“We know that death is inevitable and will certainly come but this death is a painful one. My heart and the good people of Amuwo Odofin are with heavy hearts with this sad news but God knows best. I therefore call upon the National Assembly,South East Governors and the entire Ndigbo to come together and accord the Senator a befitting burial following his antecedents and role he played in Nation building ” he submitted
Eze Omeiheukwu went on to say that Senator Uba demonstrated unwavering dedication to the progress and development of Anambra South and Nigeria as a whole.
“We are deeply in shock,we are yet to recover from the death of Chief lwuanyanwu,. and now the news of Senator lfeanyi Ubah. We can only have strength and solace in the legacy of service and dedication he leaves behind. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his contributions to our nation’s progress will continue to inspire us all,he submitted.
He went further to console with the family of Senator lfeanyichukwu Ubah,the entire South East to have the fortitude to bear this immense loss
