Road Construction: Somolu LG Boss’Dullar’ lnspects Road Construction,Sets Deadline

In a dedicated effort to improve infrastructure, the Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar,’ conducted an inspection of the ongoing road construction on Owolabi Balogun Street.
The inspection, held yesterday, highlighted the local government’s commitment to enhancing road networks and ensuring timely project delivery.

Accompanied by the Leader of the Council, Hon. Yomi Osunkoya, Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Alhaji Kabir Raji, and the Council Engineer, Engr. Femi Osifala, Hon. Salawu emphasized the importance of completing the construction of Owolabi Balogun Street within six weeks.
The chairman instructed the team to ensure that contractors adhere to this timeline, stressing the need for efficiency and quality in the work being carried out.

Following the completion of Owolabi Balogun Street, the construction team will commence work on the adjoining Fatai Kadir Street. This phased approach aims to minimize traffic congestion, disruption and ensure continuous progress in the local government’s infrastructure development plans.
It will be recalled that the proactive steps taken by Hon. Salawu and his team reflect their dedication to improving the living conditions in Somolu, promising residents better roads and enhanced connectivity in the near future.
