Rep.Hon. Barr. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi Empowers Constituents With Fish Farming Training Programme

 In a bid to fulfill his campaign promises and promote sustainable development, Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi Jesse, Member of the House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 2, has successfully conducted a 4-day fish farming empowerment programme for his constituents.

The programme which was attended by 25 participants,was aimed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to start their own fish farming businesses.

Investigator news reports that each participant received a mobile collapsible pond, 400 live juvenile catfish, four bags of 15kg fish feed, and ₦50,000 cash support.

This initiative is part of Hon. Barr. Okey-Joe’s efforts to promote economic empowerment, food security, and environmental sustainability in his constituency.

The fish farming empowerment programme is a shining example of how sustainable initiatives can drive economic growth, food security, and environmental sustainability.
