The Lagos State Police Command has cleared the air over a viral video alleging that a Yahoo Boy hypnotised a woman from California, United States (Internet Fraudster).
According to social media claims, the unidentified woman regained her senses three days after being lured to Nigeria by demons.
After regaining her senses, the lady argued with the suspected Yahoo Boy, according to some of the reactions.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, described the report as a false narrative in a tweet.
The woman in the viral video is German, according to Hundeyin, and has been living with her husband since February 2019.
“False narrative!” wrote Hundeyin in response to the viral video. The woman is of German descent. She and her husband have been living in the same house since February of this year. They had a misunderstanding the day before yesterday, which necessitated the intervention of neighbors. She was taken to the station by the police, who arrived on time.
“She refused to go to the German embassy.” She was adamant about returning home with her husband. Her husband, too, readily made amends with her. They’ve returned home safely. I purposefully left out their names to protect their privacy.”
