Ejigbo,Lagos–The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, has kicked off the reconstruction of Double Star Road, a project residents have waited years for.

Investigator news reports that the Double Star Road, Oke-Afa Ward, brings an end to years of waiting and infrastructural decay as the project would feature a complete rebuild of the road with interlocking paving stones, a functional drainage system, and solar-powered streetlights, deploying modern 21st-century road infrastructure.

Speaking at the site,Aare TAT said the project reflects his administration’s commitment to durable, people-focused development and long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.

Investigator news gathered that residents of Jakande Estate especially the double star road has applauded the Executive Chairman and also welcomed the intervention, describing it as evidence of responsive leadership and a clear demonstration of dividends of democracy at the grassroots.


Among the dignitaries that accompanied the chairman include the Vice Chairman,Hon Mrs Nicholas Ike,the Councilor representing Oke Afa ward,Hon Muritala Rukayat Olabisi,the Ward Chairman of Oke Afa and other political stakeholders from within and outside the ward.
