Peter Obi Addresses Nigerians Before Tinubu’s Inauguration
Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in 2023, has urged Nigerians to be calm and lawful.
Obi’s call came 24 hours before Bola Tinubu’s inauguration.
The LP flagbearer believes the judiciary will determine the poll’s winner. He also urged Nigerians to advance the nation.
At an event in Kaduna State, Obi said that national unity, peace, and security are more important than anything else.
He remarked, “We must continue on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, coexistence, that is the most important thing for now.

“Let’s have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where government focuses on people’s suffering.”
Despite concerns with the past general elections, Nigerians must work together in peace to address insecurity, poverty, education, and other vital challenges.
At the event, Labour Party Presidential candidate Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed urged the incoming government to address high youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, especially in the North, calling those critical areas that need urgent attention.
