As sea of mourners continue thronging the residence of speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly at Agege over the death of their patriarch, Alh. Sulaiman Obasa, the Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, has sent his heartfelt condolences to the speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa and the good people of Agege.
Reacting to the news of Late Pa Sulaimon’s death which occurred in the early hours of today, Olasoju headed for the Agege home of the deceased’s son making him one of the earliest callers on condolence.
A release signed by the chief press secretary Rasheed lskilu, Olasoju’s conveyed his kind words to the savant legislator urging him to take solace in the remarkable life led by his beloved father stating: “May I, through this piece, send my sincerest condolences to Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa – Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly on the transition of his begetter, Late Alh. Sulaimon Obasa. The positive impact of Pa Obasa’s existence traversed the length and breadth of south-west states not only through his children, among whom is the speaker, but his torch-bearing personality to the people of Abeokuta, where he hailed from, in religious and community advancement matters”.
The council boss, while urging Hon. Obasa to find solace in the prints that his dad left on the sands of time prayed for the repose of the departed soul.
“It is noteworthy that living up to Eighty years and above takes the rare grace of God which must be appreciated more so when those years were spent for meaningful contributions to humanity. May God grant Pa Obasa a place in His prestigious Aljanat Fridaos” the release concluded.
