As the battle for President Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State Continues to gain momentum, Chief Emmanuel Ubah Otunba Ojoto has continued to receive more support from various Igbo stakeholders among which is the Ohaneze Ndigbo Spiritual Director,Prophetess Adaobi Orjiakor, a.k.a Nnukwu Eze Nwanyi of Alimosho LGA in Lagos State who called on all Ndigbo in Lagos State to elect Chief Emmanuel Ubah as President General Ohaneze Ndigbo stating that he will restore Ohaneze’s past glory, promote peace, unity and togetherness among Ndigbo and host communities.
She stated this when Chief Emmanuel Ubah led members of his campaign team to the palace of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ndieze and Ezendigbo in Alimosho, Eze Lawrence Nnamdi Eze.
Prophetess Orjiako noted that her spirit revealed to her that Chief Emmanuel would be the next Ohaneze President while urging Eze Lawrence,Ndieze and other Igbo stakeholders to rally round and give him the necessary support he needed.
To confirm her support and statement for Chief Emmanuel Ubah,she donated a cow for Ubah’s victory party.
In the same vein,Eze Lawrence Nnamdi while welcoming the entourage to his palace, pledge to give his full support to the emergence of Chief Emmanuel Ubah as President General Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State.
Affirming his support, offered some spiritual prayer and royal blessing declaring that Chief Emmanuel Ubah will win the election saying “Any man or woman who wants your downfall will fall for your sake like Hamman in the bible”
Ichie Njoku Anslem urged Ndieze and the stakeholders to tell Chief Leonard Okafor (Oba Ojoto) to honour his words on his statement at Calabar Hall during the Unity Party he convened.
He recalled that Oba Ojoto said he will not contest the election and had no intention to do so but recently he declared his intention to contest for the position as President.
Njoku stated that Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State needs to move forward and it is time to give the leadership to the young ones and all should support Chief Emmanuel Ubah.
Other Igbo stakeholders who spoke at the event include the Chairman of all Chairmen,Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State,Nze Edwin Egboka told the stakeholders that it is time to restore Ohanaeze Ndigbo to its past glory.
He opined that Chief Ubah who is grassroot personality would ensure that peace and harmony returns back to Ohaneze, while calling on the stakeholders to support Chief Ubah and his team so that peace will return to Ohanaeze Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State.
“Chief Emmanuel Ubah presently is the Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Oto Awori Chapter and we all know the peace and unity that is flowing in that local government since his assumption into office,he is a philanthropist and has touched so many individuals through his philanthropy gesture and if everyone supports him,he will restore that peace that has eluded Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State for years”he said
Earlier,Chief Ubah who was welcomed by youths and women of Ohaneze thanked Eze Lawrence for hosting him and his team.
He also acknowledge Ndieze and stakeholders for their presence and told them that he is actually seeking for the position not because he is power hungry but for him to restore lasting peace in Ohanaeze.
Ubah noted that he was worried about the crisis in Ohanaeze as he assured the people on different fora that if elected,he would restored peace, unity and togetherness as he offered to serve so as to bring Ohanaeze back to its past glory.
He noted that if there is peace in Ohanaeze, there will be peace among Ndigbo and the host community and State Government will respect Ndigbo.
He solicited for the support of Ndigbo by voting him in so that peace wil return in Ohaneze because he will ensure that the Constitution of Ohaneze will be in place and the think home project will be implemented and realized.
” If elected,I will ensure that peace is restored and the host communities would respect us,I will also ensure that Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State have a bye law and have a permanent secretariat, that will have a civil hall where other people would be renting it like we used to do in Calabar hall and this would generate more money for Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State” he submitted
