Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has called on Christians to use the Christmas season to pray for Nigeria’s unity, peace, and prosperity, and to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms.
In his Christmas message,Ododo described Christmas as a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, and recommitment to values that bind humanity together.
He urged Nigerians to pray for Tinubu, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength, and good health as he leads the country through reforms
The Governor noted that Nigeria is at a defining moment in its history and requires the collective prayers, goodwill, and responsible actions of all citizens to strengthen unity, peace, and national prosperity.
Ododo went further to commend Tinubu’s “bold and people-focused reforms”, saying they’re expanding opportunities and prosperity, with Kogi State benefiting from improved fiscal space and investments, while highlightening improvements in infrastructure, security, and social welfare in Kogi, attributing them to Tinubu’s reforms and his administration’s efforts.
He reassured Kogi residents of his commitment to people-centred governance and inclusive development.
